Merry Christmas!
Well, it's Christmas Day as we write this! And the last thing to check
off our to-do list is the annual Christmas letter! It's always fun to
receive your updates, so we couldn't let another day go by without
sending our's. As we write, too, it's fun to look back on the year,
usually thinking, "wow, was that this year?"
Not surprisingly, we'll start with Reid, since he's mostly become the
activity in our home! He's 15 months old and is proclaiming his
independence loud and clear. The next minute he's searching for Mommy.
We went from a little baby who just laid where you put him to chasing
him as he toddles – everywhere! His hands are too quick for us most of
the time. And just lately, he's started imitating things like sweeping
the floor and holding paint samples up to the wall. (Guess someone's
been doing a little too much of that!)
We took a trip to Seattle, WA in July and enjoyed all the touristy
things there. Then, in August we visited Steve's brother's family in
Maryland. Other trips included Las Vegas and Iowa. After that, we've
pretty much stayed close to home.
For now, things remain much the same as last year for us. Steve's still
working for the Air Force on the C-5. We're blessed that this job allows
so much flexibility and so little travel. Alyssa has enjoyed staying
home with Reid. Together, they've gotten involved in storytime,
playgroups, and other activities.

Have a wonderful Christmas. May the peace of Christ rule in your hearts!
Love,
Steve, Alyssa and Reid (Selah, too) |
